Iowa's Democratic Caucuses
January 3, 2008
Registration Begins at 6:00 PM • You MUST sign in or be in line by 7 PM.
NO Absentee ballots • If you arrive after 7 you are welcome to
watch, but not participate.
If you need to
change party affiliation to Democratic,
or to register to vote, PLEASE come early!
Democrats in Iowa use the "neighborhood caucus" system to select delegates
for presidential candidates, and to choose our local Democratic Party leaders.
International media and the presidential candidates focus on Iowa because we
give the world the first real evidence of which candidates can or cannot gain
the Democratic nomination for president. We Iowans take this very seriously.

Overall, here are the FINAL percentages of delegates that each
candidate won across Iowa:

Clinton : 29.47%
Richardson : 2.11%
Biden : 0.93%
Uncommitted : 0.14%

campaign staffers -- all ready to celebrate and/or commiserate.
