Rally to Thank Tom Harkin:
Rally for Real Health Insurance Reforms

US Senator Tom Harkin has been working day and night to help pass real health insurance reforms to benefit ALL of us, but most of the time all he (and his staff) only hear from the right wingers and tea bag organizers who oppose these changes.

Now it's our turn, to tell Senator Harkin that we appreciate what he and his staff are doing, and to encourage our senator to take health insurance reform legislation across the finish line.

Speak up! Do you have a story about how health insurance reforms could benefit you, your family, your employer? Come to the rally and speak up.

Those elected to the Committee on Committees will also meet to discuss how we will organize the March 13 Woodbury County convention.

Delegates elected at the precinct caucuses will meet to hear speeches from candidates, discuss issues, and elect delegates to the district convention.

Organizing meeting of the Woodbury County Democrats central committee; officers will be wlected. All Democrats are welcomed to attend and participate, but only elected central committee members may vote on any issue before the committee.

5th District Democratic Convention

Delegates elected at county conventions across the 5th District will meet to hear speeches from candidates, discuss issues, and elect delegates to the state Democratic convention.

Democratic Primary Election Day

If needed, Democrats will vote to select their candidates to run in the general election in November 2010.
